Programming and robotics
analysis of project
For this project, we had to make a robot art show that goes along with music. We made our art show through arduino and a breadboard. I worked with Ben Franks and we did the Mario theme song. It was really fun learning how to program and I know a lot more about robotics now.
We started off learning how to do basic circuits with alligator clips, a battery, and light bulbs. We went through a packet and did different series and parallel circuits. After we finished those we started using potentiometers and breadboards. We got a basic understanding of breadboards and how they work so that we good use the arduino software. It was really cool learning how to program and we were able to program our breadboard so that we could get it to play the piezo buzzer and lights at the same time. A video of our project working is in this link:

I have had a lot of fun on this project. I have learned a lot of new skills during this project. One thing I learned is how to program through arduino software. It is now easy and fun to do. I also learned how to set up a circuit with light bulbs and with a breadboard. I can now make a complete circuit. During this project, Ben and I had very good co-operation together. We had many peaks during this entire project. One peak was time management. We finished our project a couple of days in advance. Another peak was our efficiency. When one of us was working on something the other one was getting something else done and not just sitting around. We had a couple of pits. One pit was that we had some trouble coding at some points. Another pit was the efficiency of the way we connected the wires. There were a lot of wires on the board and we could have used less. I could have been a lot more involved in the breadboard set up. I usually worked on the coding. Another thing I could have done better was having more understanding of some of the coding. This was a good project and I can't wait for the next one.
